Stichting Rijakannah is a nonprofit foundation legally registered in Suriname, providing humanitarian assistance, education, health support, disaster relief, and community development to underserved and remote communities throughout Suriname.

Stichting Rijakannah exists to provide humanitarian assistance to communities throughout Suriname — including support for healthcare access, education, food security, and long-term community development. Our goal is not simply to give assistance — we work to help communities build sustainable futures.

Many communities throughout Suriname continue to face challenges including limited access to medical care, educational resources, transportation, and basic necessities. Our Foundation was established because we believe every family deserves dignity, opportunity, and hope. Every financial donation entrusted to Stichting Rijakannah Foundation is carefully managed and directed toward our mission.
A separate humanitarian account is maintained for Foundation operations.
We work closely with the appropriate authorities in Suriname to ensure imported humanitarian donations are properly documented and distributed according to applicable regulations.
We are committed to transparency by providing updates to our supporters regarding projects, humanitarian shipments, and the impact their generosity makes possible.
