Through our contact, donation, partner, and volunteer forms we may collect:

• Name and preferred contact name
• Email address and phone number
• City, state or country of residence
• Emergency contact name and phone number (volunteer form only)
• The message, inquiry, or availability details you submit

Volunteer form submissions (name, phone number, city, and emergency contact) are stored in the Foundation’s private database, hosted on a secure managed platform with encryption in transit and at rest. Records are retained only as long as needed to coordinate volunteer activities and required record-keeping.

• Responding to inquiries and coordinating volunteer, donor, or partner activities
• Reaching your designated emergency contact only in the event of an emergency during a Foundation activity
• Sending occasional Foundation updates that you have opted in to receive
• Maintaining internal records required to operate the Foundation responsibly

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to third parties.

Access to volunteer and inquiry data is limited to authorized Foundation personnel who have signed a confidentiality expectation, and to vetted service providers (for example, our email and database hosting providers) strictly as required to operate the site. All access is logged.

You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, or request deletion of your record, subject to any legal record-keeping requirements. To make a request, email info@rijakannah.org.

Our website uses only the minimal cookies required for functionality. We do not use advertising cookies. If we introduce analytics in the future, this policy will be updated and the change noted at the top of the page.

The website is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16 without parental or guardian consent.
